Everyone loves pirates right? Well I certainly do and I’ve always had a fascination with tales of Anne Bonny and Mary Read, two famous female pirates of the Golden Age.

I am planning to put together a short promo pilot about these two fabulous women to use as both showreel material as an actor and filmmaker but also to gather interest in a potential feature film or TV DocuDrama about them.

I did a similar thing in 2006 when I did a test/trailer shoot for a film called Born of Hope. That film was then developed into a 71 minute feature film which has now been viewed over 1.5 million times on the internet since it’s release in December 2009. I plan to bring the same high production values and quality to this film.
