CREW REQUIRED We are currently adding to the team and putting together a list of potential crew members, some that will join the team now and some that we can contact nearer to the shoot to crew up each filming day. Although ideally I'd love the same experienced crew throughout the shoot, with this kind of project it is almost impossible as people can't fully commit in case they get paid work and cannot attend all the shoot dates. We therefore need a number of people on our list that we can call on without posting for new crew every time. Also, some shoot days will be bigger than others when we have the fight team or large "crowd" days for example. For these days we will also therefore require a larger crew, extra makeup & hair artists, wardrobe assistants and runners etc. To make this film the best that it can be we could do with your help. If you have a skill that you feel would benefit us and you are willing to donate the project some of your time and effort then do get in touch. Below is a list of all the crew members we potentially need. There are a lot listed but most of these will double up and some may be eliminated. As we are based in Cambridge UK then priority will be given to people living in the UK close to Cambridge or London as distance may be a problem for some jobs however you might as well get in touch so we can discuss it further.

a Concept Artist Think you're a bit of a wiz in Photoshop or give you a pen and paper and you'll doodle for hours? Well if you are interested in getting involved you can now put that energy to good use. Follow this link to the concept art page for your chance to design stuff like the web banners below. We really need your help to keep this film in production. If you would like to support this project you can help us by making a donation, however small. Our main concern lies in the balance of our financial limits with the artistic aspects of the work. Currently all cast and crew are giving there time, energy and skills for free but the cost of costume materials, wig hire, prosthetics and insurance, to name just a few, all adds up.
Donating
Although this is currently a low budget self funded fan film and not a commercial production, I am aiming high and very keen for the film to look as professional as possible. We are keeping the style of Peter Jackson’s Trilogy and ideally I’d like people to watch Born of Hope and feel like it could be part of that set of films. Not an easy task on a budget that's probably the same as one day's Craft service for the New Line Trilogy.
Any kind of involvement on your part may very well be decisive in developing this project further. What I have to offer in return is an original way of advertising; your name would appear in the credits of the film and on the website. The film should reach a very wide audience, as we plan to circulate it in several festivals and exhibitions around the world, and on the internet. The film is gathering quite a following and is being discovered daily. You will also be invited to a screening of the finished film of course.

Donation problems! Dec 07 I just wanted to thank you all for your generous donations to BoH and to sincerely apologise for the fact that some of you may have had your donations returned to you recently. This was not intentional. The email address linked to the donations button has had problems and was disconnected from the Paypal account. I do not know how long this has been a problem as I have only just found out. It turns out that some donations have been bouncing back because they couldn't get through to the paypal account. It would be extremely rude of me to ask you to donate again but please know that if you did donate but it bounced back please know that I should have now fixed the problem and therefore donations should not be rejected again! All donations are extremely welcome and essential to making this a wonderful film. I now worry about how many donations have actually bounced. Thank you all for supporting this project!
