Marked by an ancient and powerful evil spirit a young woman must journey across the land to discover the truth of what she is. Joined along the road by a small band of outcasts she starts to discover that the stories she was brought up to believe may all have been a lie.

SUMMARY: One day, while gathering wood in the forest surrounding her quiet village, Ren encounters a young women, Lyanna, whose face carries the ‘mark’ of an ancient and powerful evil spirit. When Lyanna and her unmarked companion Hunter are attacked by Kah’Nath soldiers it leaves Lyanna mortally wounded and the ‘mark’…gone. Due to a twist of fate the spirit and the ‘mark transfers to Ren and with the Kah’Nath, the powerful ruling order of ‘witch’ hunters, occupying her village she finds herself in a dangerous situation. With no one to turn to but the stranger Hunter she finds herself banished from her home. While she journeys across the land to discover the truth of what she is and if there are any others like her she is joined by a small band of outcasts, and she starts to discover that the stories she was brought up to believe may all have been a lie.
